Sunny snaps for a rainy day

It's pouring with rain and blowing all the petals off my flowers so I'm cheering things up with some sunny snaps of my hols.

June is going to be a busy month, it's one of those months when I've said yes to everything and now I'm wondering how on earth I'm going to do it all, do you ever do that?

I've two pop-up flower stalls to do for my company A Bunch Of Wild, and I've agreed to do my friends hair, nails and flowers for her wedding at the end of the month, I thought all my styling days (hair and events) were over.

I just hope this rain stops soon, I'm invincible in the sunshine, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

Hope this week is kind to you all xxx

Sunday snaps

Morning lovelies
It's a bank holiday yay.
Thought I'd share a few of favourites with you today that are making me feel all summery.

Enjoy your weekend x

Saturday snaps

Hope you have a beautiful Saturday

Making time for the little things

It's all so easy to get swept up with work especially if you run your own business, I know I hardly ever switch off, I'm always thinking about my business, what direction should I take it, what do I need to do next and how much social media shall I do.
It's very rare to switch off.

But today I finally managed it, I know what you're thinking... Well you're blogging now!
I know and I'm enjoying it, that's quite a biggy, when you create content for a business especially a creative one it can start to burn you out a bit,
But today I did some simple stuff and really feel so much better already.

I took Purdey our beagle for a beautiful long walk in the woods to see the last of the bluebells, I also made lots of tea, sat under the wisteria and pottered all day in the garden.
Even my eldest daughter got involved by doing her window boxes.

And I enjoyed snapping a few pics on my phone and slapping some super pastel bright filters on them for my personal Instagram.
I love having a separate Instagram account to my business, it fires my creative side by not limiting what photos to take or worrying about a cohesive look.

Right I'm off to check on my plant babies and read a mag.

Enjoy the rest of your day x

Saturday snap shots

Happy Saturday everyone.

It's all been wild.

Hello lovelies,

I can't quite believe it's been three months since I last wrote for VGL.
I have been so uber flipping busy with the launch of A Bunch Of Wild I've hardly had time for anything else, my poor kids and husband have been neglected so much just lately that they have to keep checking in on my instagram to see what I'm up to.

I'm hopeful normal family stuff will be back soon but I'm not holding my breath, after all these years I'm still utterly crap at saying no.

So I just wanted to share with you what I've been up to, you see I'm on a huge mission along with other flower farmers to get our British flowers out on the high street, so i've been doing my bit and now have a regular pitch in Ampthill where I can simply pop up my flower stall and sell my home grown and foraged blooms.
How awesome is that!

If you fancy reading more about A Bunch Of Wild you can visit my website here.

I promise not to leave it so long next time.

Spring planted vintage urn.

Wishing you all a Happy Sunday!

Here's a pic of my vintage urn that I've planted up with mini daffs and hyacinths.

The urn was originally black and I'd kept it like that for a few years before deciding I'd had enough of the dark and wanted something light.
I'm really pleased with the results.

It's starting to flower now so I'll start sharing some more snaps of it this week.

I hope January is being kind to you.
